The invention refers to a cutting device, especially for open bores, such as, bearing sockets in the housing of naval and similar thermal engines, mounted on the crankshaft spindle. The device is made up of a semi-ring body (1), with the internal diameter conjugated with the external diameter of the spindle on which it is attached with adjustable clips (3) and fixed with lateral screws (4), the semi-ring body (1) being fitted with a protuberance (a) all along its length, in which a rectangular channel (b) is made for inserting axial cleats (5) moved by screws (8) to ensure the fixing and the position of a knife blade (9).<IMAGE>
