The invention relates to a catch pin gear, used in cycloidal planetary reductors, for obtaining any planetary transmission with a rational number ratio transmission. According to this invention, for increased transmission fiability and output, the gear has the interior contour of a crown gear (7), consisting of some equidistant hypocycloidal segments (h) operated by some balls (6), whose number (n) is equal to the difference between the number (g) of hypocycloidal segments (h), from which is obtained the crown gear (7) and the number (f) of turns of the mobile generator circle (b) inside the fixed circle (c).<IMAGE>
