PURPOSE:To prevent the stoppage of the whole system even when a short circuit occurs between control signal and power feed terminals by connecting an overcurrent protecting element in series with a control signal and power feed terminal of a modular connector for a home bus. CONSTITUTION:An overcurrent protecting element 12 is a fuse made of an alloy, and it is connected in series with a control signal and power feed terminal D1. When a short circuit occurs between the control signal and power feed terminal D1 and a control signal and power feed terminal D2 via a conducting member, the fuse 12 is melted, and the control signal and power feed terminal D1 is separated from a home bus line 13, thus no effect is inflicted on other terminal devices connected to the home bus line 13. |
