<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently input a command to a terminal and to enhance its usability by a method wherein commands which are executed serially in individual bays are formed in a macro shape, they are displayed on screens at corresponding terminals so as to correspond to the commands in the macro shape and they are input from the terminals as a macro unit. CONSTITUTION:In a production control system using a computer, the following are included: several terminals 12 arranged in individual bays 10 as sections in a factory; and a host computer 14 which is connected to the several terminals 12 and which has a command system of a hierarchical structure. In the system, the manufacturing condition at respective bays 10 and the manufacturing progress about products whose production is started are input from the terminals 12 in the form of commands and are controlled by using the host computer 14. Commands which are executed serially in respective bays 10 are formed in a macro shape, and are displayed on screens of the corresponding terminals 12 so as to correspond to the commands formed in the macro shape. The commands are input from the terminals 12 as a macro unit. For example, names in a macro shape such as alpha, beta,... and comments corresponding to them are displayed on a menu screen at one terminal 12.</p> |
