The invention refers to a hydro-pneumatic level control system designed for the automatic control of water level in hydrologic improvements and water management.The control system is equipped with a control valve (A) that consists of a fixed body (30) with two sockets (35 and 36), and a dowel pin (29), and a duct (b) that works with the two sockets (35 and 36). The dowel pin (29) is driven by a divide arm (19) which is in mobile connection with rods (17 and 18) located in control wells (10 and 11) outside the duct, so it connects a bell-chamber (2) to either a compressed-air cylinder (32) or the atmosphere, and changes the position of a dam (1).<IMAGE>
