<p>PURPOSE: To make it possibly to search irrespective of the position of a metallic material to the moving direction of an operator by providing an electric signal corrector, additional selective amplifier, main and additional oscillating loops for canceling the effect of primary electromagnetic field. CONSTITUTION: The metallic material searching apparatus comprises an inducing system 5 having two oscillating loops 1, 2 and two receiving loops 3, 4, AC generator 6, and a signal balance 7 for balancing the signals from the loops 3, 4 for inputting from input terminals 8, 9. Further, the apparatus comprises two selective amplifiers 26, 27 connected to electric signal correctors 15, 16 via the outputs 28, 29 of a switch 19. The generator 6 is connected to the corresponding correctors to the amplifiers 26 or 27 corresponding to the connection of one side of the control signal input terminal 17 or 18 of the loop 1 or 2 and correctors 15, 16. Further, the apparatus comprises two data processors 39, 40 connected to the outputs of the amplifiers 26, 27, two recorders 41, 42 connate to the outputs of the processors 39, 40, OR circuit 45 connected to the input terminals 43, 44 and signal displays unit 46 connected to the output of the circuit 45.</p> |
