PURPOSE:To provide the title composition stable to irradiation of radioactive rays, excellent in the balance among its physical properties, for various containers for medical and food packaging uses, comprising a polypropylene having syndiotactic structure of specific NMR peak intensity. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising a polypropylene (e.g. propylene homopolymer >=0.8 in syndiotactic pendant fraction and <=10wt.% in the content of n-hexane solubles at 20 deg.C) having syndiotactic structure with the peak intensity, in its <13>C-NMR absorption spectra determined in a 1,2,4- trichlorobenzene solution thereof, observed based on tetramethylsilane at a concentration of 20.2ppm, at least half of the sum of that attributed to the methyl group of the propylene unit.
