1.0.0.0- ~STRACT "SWINGING MEASURING CUP" has a shape like, a slice or partial volume element of a concentric hollow cylinder. That is, a cut of a sector of a hollow concentric cylinder on the base, in the direction of the cylinder hight. Refer to figure #l on page #l of the drawings section. The cup can be mounted on packages of free flowing materials, such as, powdered detergents, cereals~ sugar, spices~ noodles~ dried beans or peas, rice, coffee, etc. When the cup is pulled ~swung~ out of the package, a pre-measured amount can be poured out from the cup. The content of the cup can also be sub-divided into smaller portion(s) by pulling out the levered divider plate(s). The cup at the "out" and at the "in" positions, prevents any spillage of the material contained in the package. While at these positions it acts as a cap or door to the opening of the package, which helps to keep the package content fresh longer as well.
