PURPOSE:To obtain a plastic bottle, both the label and body of which are mat, by a method wherein mat varnish is applied to the surface of base material such as unstretched polypropylene film or the like. CONSTITUTION:Mat varnish 2 is applied to the surface of label base material 1 made of unstretched polypropylene film. The mat varnish 2 is transparent ink, which is prepared by adding silica as matting agent and the like in place of pigment component. Further, by changing the degree of addition of silica, the degree of matting can be changed. Furthermore, by laminating polyethylene film 6 through adherent resin 5 to the rear surface of the unstretched polypropylene film for bonding to a polypropylene bottle, the lamination of the label and the bottle is possible due to the high surface activity of urethane- based inky surface and the resultant good adhesion between the adhesive and the film. |
