<p>PURPOSE:To easily change the delay time of a delay signal, to make design efficient and to improve reliability by setting information for selecting the plural delay signals according to an instruction. CONSTITUTION:According to the instruction, the information is set for showing which delay signal is selected to a register 1. In such the case, a value is set to the delay signal information storage part of the register 1 so that the optimum signal can be selected in the simulation of the design step. However, the select information is written into an (n) bit of the register 1 according to the write instruction of the microprocessor. Then, the values of the respective bits in the register 1 become delay select information signals 81-8n and these signals are decoded by a decoder 9 so as to generate delay select signals 21-2i. A delay circuit 4 generates delay signals 51-5i by delaying a clock 3. A select circuit 6 selects a delay signal 7 and when the delay time is different from the estimated time and the operation is not normally executed, the value to the storage part of the register 1 is reset by the instruction. Therefore, the delay time of the signal 7 is changed and the normal operation can be executed.</p> |
