<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a collecting material safely and effectively collecting and removing a very small amount of aldehyde present in air by combining a hydrophilic gap material having a substance having an NH2-group added thereto with a byproduct collecting material. CONSTITUTION:At first, a substance having an NH2-group such as hydroxylamine is added to a hydrophilic gap material such as an ion exchange fiber. Next, a byproduct collecting material 3 such as activated carbon and/or dextrin is used along with the hydrophilic gap material 2. When air 1 containing aldehyde generated by smoking is introduced into both materials, aldehyde in the vicinity of an inlet is collected by the hydrophilic gap material 2 to which the substance having the NH2-group is added and the byproduct formed from the material is collected by the byproduct collecting material 3. This aldehyde collecting material can safely and effectively collect and remove a very small amount of aldehyde in air and is inexpensive.</p> |
