PURPOSE:To obtain the best feeling for handling a cover body, by applying the captioned spring balancer to a balancer for opening/closing the cover etc. used in a cabinet or the like, and by adjusting each of loads for obtaining the mounting length of the balancer and characteristics of the balance, individually. CONSTITUTION:In order to adjust dimensional length of a spring balancer 1, a lock nut 15 in its mounting part 2 is loosened, and then the mounting part 2 is rotated to adjust the length. While, in order to adjust load characteristics of coil springs 7, 9 for obtaining a balance characteristic, a bearing seat 10 provided between the spring 7 and a piece 6 in an outer cylinder 4 is moved to change the load characteristic of the coil springs 7, 9 by pushing forward and pulling backward a retaining screw 11 screwed to the piece 6 at the side of a rod 3. |
