<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a plant belonging to the genus Podophyllum in high efficiency and industrially by culturing a culture cell of a plant belonging to the genus Podophyllum under a specific condition of saccharide concentration to introduce an adventitious embryo. CONSTITUTION:A cell (e.g. callus) of a plant belonging to the genus Podophyllum is cultured in a medium having <=2wt.%, preferably <=1wt.% saccharide such as sucrose at 10-30 deg.C for 2 days to 10 weeks and then cultured in a medium having >=2wt.%, preferably >=2.5wt.% saccharide concentration to give an adventitious embryo.</p> |
