<p>PURPOSE:To improve assembly workability when a cowl unit is to be inserted from above into a car body and arranged thereon, by engaging a side part of a cowl member with a positioning part on the side of the car body only when the insertion is completed, and by fixing this through a bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:A cowl unit U1 provided with a brake pedal 14 and a brake assistor 15 is inserted from above and is arranged on the front side of a car body side cowl member 5 of a car body main body 1, which is to be arranged on the upper part of a dash panel 4. A groove 31b is formed between a stage part 29a recessively formed on the side wall part of a cowl side inner 29 and the rear end part of a reinforcement 28 extended in a longitudinal direction of the car body, on which it is linked with the cowl side inner 29. A groove 31b is also formed between the stage part 29a and the side end part of an upper panel 8 to be linked with a rear end part of the cowl side inner 29. A positioning part 31 of wide end is formed by the grooves 31a, 31b, and the side part of a unit side cowl member 11 is positioned and engaged.</p> |
