PURPOSE:To stably obtain an electrostatic latent image by exposing an image after passing through a first electrifying means equalizing the surface potential of the part exposed to the image of an electrostatic latent image forming member to an arbitrary surface potential by means of a second electrifying means, and then, carrying out developing. CONSTITUTION:On the circumference of the electrostatic latent image forming member 15, the first electrifying means 11, an image exposing means 12, the second electrifying means 13, and a developing means 14 housing coloring/ electrifying grains carrying out electrifying to the same polarity as the electrostatic latent image forming member 15, are arranged in the moving direction of the electrostatic latent image forming member 15, at least in this order. After passing through the first electrifying means 11 and exposed to the image, the surface potential of the part on the electrostatic latent image forming member 15 is equalized to the arbitrary potential, by the second electrifying means 13, and then the developing is carried out. Thus, even if the light quantity of the image exposing means. 12 is fluctuated, and the sensitivity of a photosensitive body is varied, the stable latent image is always obtained, and the image having a stable density is obtained. |
