CONSTITUTION:Starch used as a substrate is fed through a bacterial body layer reared and immobilized in vapor phase in a form of a solution under high dissolved oxygen while decomposing the starch with a starch decomposing enzyme (e.g. alpha-amylase or glucoamylase) to provide the aimed gluconic acid in fermentation method. |
