PURPOSE:To obtain a corona ion recording device having a high resolution by providing a corona ion producing electrode with slit corona ion producing regions. CONSTITUTION:Each of corona ion producing electrodes 8 is provided with corona ion producing regions in a slit form with the slits arranged in a successive series. The corona ion producing electrode is so constructed as to make visible two joint parts 10 of the corona ion producing electrode 8 and an insulating substrate 9 when it is viewed from the side of a corona ion passage hole 7 to provide a large allowable range of positional errors when a member 12 having a corona ion producing source 11 and the corona ion passage hole is being fitted into said electrode. Due to the corona ion producing regions slit in this way, even if the width of the slit becomes narrow, the bottom of the slit can be formed sharply when the flow of etching liquid is supplied in the slit direction. As a result, a corona ion recording device having a high resolution can be manufactured. |
