PURPOSE:To make a cogging generation magnetic substance unnecessary by generating torque even at where magnetization boundaries are opposite to a Hall element. CONSTITUTION:Armature coils 10-13 are fixed into ring form at regular intervals to the printed circuit board 9 of a stator 8 and the adjacent armature coils 10 and 11 and 12 and 13 are deexcited. A rotor 14 has a single-pole magnetized section 15 of an electrical angle of 240 deg. and a nonmagnetized section 16 of an electrical angle of 120 deg. on a polar region opposite the stator 8, the edge 14a of the rotor 14 is a rotor-position-detecting magnetization region, and the magnetization boundaries d1 and d2 thereof are approximately symmetric with respect to the center (e) of the single-pole magnetized section 15 and the nonmagnetized section 16. A Hall element detects magnetization of the edge 14a and excitation of a couple of the armatures 10 and 11 or 12 and 13 is controlled according to the detection. |
