A plurality of radio transmitters (A,B,C) connected to a control means (1) via lines (2) are synchronised when they send their times by radio to a receiver (R) of the control means, whose distance from the transmitters is known. The reception time of the messages is recorded and transmitted to the senders. These correct their instantaneous time by means of the transmitted time and the known signal propagation times.
