An operating arrangement (14) is mounted on the case of the wristwatch. This arrangement can assume two different and definite spatial positions. A first range, e.g. hours, is assigned to the first position and a second time range, e.g. days of the month, is assigned to the second. One or more hands (18,20,21,22,23,24,25,26,27) show the line range set by the operating arrangement. One hand can indicate a first figure or group while another indicates a second figure or groups belonging to the time range indicated by the first. The operating arrangement can be a knurling wheel at the side of the watch case which can be brought into various positions. ADVANTAGE - Clear indication of various time ranges, including, e.g. times in other lands, without overloading dial or requiring magnifying glass to read, e.g. date.
