PURPOSE:To feed works efficiently in a small space when feeding the works to a machine tool by feeding and delivering cassettes, each having works lined in a row, by use of guide lines formed into a U shaped and a robot hand or the like. CONSTITUTION:A cassette 20, which has works W lined in a row, is fed to a work feeding position 31 in the direction that crosses the direction of the cassette arrangement, and the work W which has reached a work feed/receipt position 31a is fed to and receive from a machine tool 10. After that, the cassette 20 is successively shifted toward the direction of the work arrangement for feed/ receipt of the work W; then the cassette 20 is completely sent out to the delivery position 33 from the work feeding position 31, and a new cassette 20 is fed to the work feeding position 31. Further, the delivered cassette 20 comes adjacent to the new cassette 20 and is sent out in the direction opposite to the direction of feeding. Also the guide lines 32, 34, 35 are arranged in the form of U, and a robot hand 11 is provided to feed/receive a work to/from the machine tool 10 when it comes to the work feed/receipt position 31a, and a feeding device 36-38 is also provided. |
