PURPOSE:To obtain this reflecting mirror which has high shape accuracy and is low in cost by forming the reflecting mirror with an elastic reflecting surface member and a supporting member which holds the member in a specific shape. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror consists of the reflecting surface member 1 and the supporting member 2 and the light emitted by a light source 3 is reflected by the concave surface of the reflecting mirror. The member which constitutes the reflecting surface is elastic, so a curved surface can accurately be formed in a specified shape according to the supporting member 21, and the member 1 is nearly plane before being fitted to the supporting member 2, so even when coating for reflection characteristic improvement and reflecting surface protection is carried out by vapor deposition, the state of the vapor deposition becomes uniform at respective parts on the reflecting surface to obtain homogeneous reflection characteristics in the reflecting surface, thereby obtaining an excellent result. Consequently, the reflecting mirror which has the high shape accuracy and is low in cost can be obtained. |
