Sealing strip for door or window - is retained in undercut groove in frame of door or window

The frame (1) of a window or door is provided with a sealing strip (5) to seal the gap between the hinged window and the fixed window frame or the gap between door and door frame. The frame has a longitudinal groove (2) with an undercut cross-section. This groove (2) receives part of the sealing strip (5) which has a matching cross-section and has lateral projections which engage the edges of the undercut. In addition the sealing strip (5) has attached pins (5111) which engage holes in the floor of the groove. USE/ADVANTAGE - This sealing strip cannot be removed after it has been inserted in the groove.
