Coated, possibly differently coloured, structure of a sample, partic. blood constituents, are measured in an arrangement of a base plate (1) with a carrier (2) for centrifuged tubes (3), about which is a magnifying glass (6). A measuring device (8) with pointer (10) forms part of an electrical circuit (11) contg. an A/D converter forming digital signals for a computer, an input key (14) allowing input of a position. The computer calculates structure quantities from interface positions and stored characteristics. ADVANTAGE - Testing of samples on slit.
