<p>The toothbrush according to the invention consists of a working head (1) in the form of a brush, equipped with bristles (5), integral with a gripping handle (2) via an extension (3). The working head (1) is offset outwards on the handle (2) back side and set back relative to the axis (6) of the said handle (2), the active part of the bristles (5) being open towards the said axis (6); this offsetting a is between 30 and 50 DEG and is preferably of the order of 45 DEG . According to a further characteristic of the invention, the brush comprises a blocking and protection spur (8) disposed in the extension (3) of the head (1), as well as a rotation guide (9) intended to facilitate a rolling movement of the handle (2) in the hand.
