Floor formed from hollow structures - incorporates internal ribs for reinforcement of hollow structures

The floor is constructed from hollow structures consisting of an upper panel (1) and a lower panel (2). Openings (4) are formed in both upper and lower panels (1, 2) in order to ventilate the space underneath the hollow structures. The hollow structures are reinforced by vertical ribs (3) which extend from the underside of the upper panels (1) downwards to the lower panels (2). These ribs (3) are formed from flat steel bars and extend over the entire length or width of the panels (1, 2). Alternatively the ribs (3) may be formed from steel sections. USE/ADVANTAGE - The hollow structures combine low weight with high strength.
