Dental cleaning equipment with motor-driven rotary brush - reversible between movements over front and back surfaces of teeth by resetting switch
摘要
A rotary shaft (28) protruding from a handgrip (12) is driven by a reversible electric motor (18) and carries a brush (36) partly surrounded by a semicylindrical cover (38) at the end of a hollow shaft (26) fitted into a socket (24). The motor (18) is reversed by operation of a sliding switch (48) with a central "off" position. Its speed can be varied continuously or in steps by an electrical or electronic controller (50), and the cover shaft (26) rotated into several different positions. ADVANTAGE - More effective cleaning achieved with brushing of both rows of teeth away from gums.
