The device connects a film having a contact surface to a circuit board having a corresponding contact surface. The device comprises a chamber (1) with an upper surface (12) and a sprung tongue (9) and a flexible support (6) therebetween. The distance between the inside (13) of the upper surface (12) and the inside (14) of the tongue (9) is less than the thickness of the support (6) and the board (4). The support (6) presses the contact surface (3) of the film (2) against the contact surface (5) of the board (4) and the tongue (9) grips the other side of the board (4). USE/ADVANTAGE - Provides sure and reliable contact between film and board, esp. for foil keyboard.
