PURPOSE:To obtain an oxide superconductor containing a small amount of remaining carbon and having excellent superconductive characteristics by forming a gas flow in a calcination oven in one direction and always bringing the oxygen-enriched gas into contact with the surface of an article to be calcined. CONSTITUTION:For example, a gs passageway 3 is formed of a jig 7' in a calcination oven 2. A material 4 to be calcined comprising ceramic superconductive powder having superconductive characteristics and/or powder generating the superconductive characteristics by heating is set (7: receiving plate) and a gas (containing prescribed gas components) is fed (1: gas inlet) into the gas passageway 3 in one direction to bring the material 4 to be calcined into contact with the gas (8: gas outlet). A material for the jig 7' includes alumina, recrystallized silicon carbide, zirconia, magnesia and refractory brick. |
