The refuse disposal system is for a kitchen sink unit (16) with a built-in cabinet, with a top disposal opening and a holder for upwardly open bin (5) below the top to receive the refuse. The holder is provided with a bin carrier, which is pref. rotatable about a vertical axis by a drive to position either one of at least two bins below the opening. The drive typically has an elective motor with a control push-button. The drive pref. comprises limit switches to permit selecting the bin to be positioned.
