The machine has a spindle performing rotation and elevation in order to form various shapes of springs such as coil-spring or tortional spring from linear wire material, supplied to the horizontal direction. The machine comprises a basic driving mechanism having a DC motor (2), following/driving gears (4,5) on handle shaft (3), a pair of bevel gear (7) connected with idle gear (9) and table gear (8), cam shaft (14) with a cam-shaft gear (6); spring forming mechanism having a serrvo motor (201) for controlling the speed of spindle (202) with a spindle support frame (204), spring-length adjusting bar (207), spring-pitch adjusting Knob (216); wire feed mechanism having a driving arm (108) driven by a cam (16), connected with a feed arm (103), a feed lever (109).
