PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the surface of the toner carrier and to give flexibility by employing a flexible heat-shrinkable tube as an elastic cylin der layer. CONSTITUTION:The toner carrier is constituted by laminating an adhesion layer 2, a softening layer 3, an electrode layer 4, an elastic cylinder 5, and an overcoat 6 in order on a shaft part 1. Then the heat-shrinkable tube is sued as the material of the elastic cylinder layer 5 and shrunk by being heated while covering a columnar mold material to contact the mold material, thereby using the flexible tube separated from the mold material. Consequently, the resin layer can be formed thinnly with high accuracy at extremely low cost without spoiling the elasticity of the elastic layer constituting the toner carrier. |
