PURPOSE:To know the number of recordings from a remote location, by using a circuit for an automatic answering telephone set and providing a means consisting of a counter and a peep tone generator informing the number of recordings to the user via a telephone line. CONSTITUTION:When an incoming callout signal is applied to line terminals L1, L2, a callout signal detector RDT set an FF1. Thus, a relay A is actuated, a message from an endless tape T1 is transmitted to the L1, L2 through an amplifier PA1 and a transformer LT, and after counting by a timer TM, a caller message is recorded on a tape T2. On the other hand, an FF2 is set through the detection of a conducting foil CF of the tape T1, and a counter CT1 counts ''1''. Thus, when the user transmits a control signal in a specific frequency from a telephone set, FF3, FF4 are set via a filter BPF and a detector DET, and peep tone corresponding to the number of counts is returned from a PTG through the actuated relays C, D, allowing to know the number of recordings. |
