<p>PURPOSE:To realize a quick program searching action and to improve the operability of a magnetic recording/reproducing device by making a program searching function act in the case that the display mode of a display means is a mode that a present position is displayed when an action switch is operated. CONSTITUTION:When a locating key 8a is operated, a microcomputer 9 decides the display mode of a counter 18. Then, when the display mode is the mode that the present position is displayed, the computer 9 sets play point data to a searching point being a searching target. Next, it sends a control signal to a tape driving circuit 14, drives reels 15a and 15b and moves a magnetic tape 13. Then, the program searching function is executed. Thus, the program searching can be easily and quickly executed by operating one action switch. As the result, the operability is improved.</p> |
