PURPOSE:To make it possible to simplify construction by transmitting a detection signal for the conditions of a front bedrock through waveguides rotating with each other in between a rotary section of a cutter head and a fixed section of a shield body. CONSTITUTION:Investigation devices 30 are arranged in the front peripheral surface of a rotating cutter head 10, the conditions of a front bedrock are detected to transmit a detection signal to a rear shield body 20, and it is dis played on an indicator 70. A transmission device 80 provided with waveguides rotating with each other is placed between the rotating cutter head 10 and no-rotating shield body 20 of the mechanism, and the detection signal is transmit ted through the transmission device. According to the constitution, high fre quency can be transmitted, and transmission efficiency can be promoted. |
