摘要 PURPOSE:To make mesh shifting with a small shock in a simple configuration by furnishing a means to make alternate shifting of a shift valve between a gear position in which non-idling is generated in the driven state and the gear position on the higher speed side at the transient in shifting. CONSTITUTION:When up-shifting is made from the non-idle position according to the shift judgement generated with changing of a power generating part from the driving to being driven, a shift valve is shifted for a certain period between the non-idling position and the higher speed position as a target of shifting alternately at the transient of up-shifting. Because the disengagement is achieved in a shorter time than engagement, friction engaging device which is detained by only one of the two gear positions for operation of the shift valve is all drained as a result, to form the neutral state. Consequently, the revolving speed of engine sinks by its own friction irrespective of the car speed during neutral, so that no inertia torque of the engine is generated substantially when shifting is performed actually, and the smooth shift operation is executed.
