<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a plant monitoring device by providing a detection means which decides whether the operation timing of an operating device is satisfied or not and displaying an operating screen together with the operating items in accordance with the situation of a plant. CONSTITUTION:A storage means is provided to store the operating conditions prescribed for each operating item together with a detection means 20 which detects that the operating conditions are satisfied based on an input process signal. Furthermore a display 4 means is added to switch the operating screen to that of the operating item where the satisfaction of the operating conditions is detected by the meand 20 as long as this operating item is not displayed yet. Thus an operating screen is displayed together with a desired operating item in accordance with the plant situation.
