PURPOSE:To set torque accurately by forming a track between an inner rotor and an outer rotor, and arranging a middle rotor aslant so that it may make line contact with this track, and stopping the advance of the outer rotor shifting by the action of a tapered screw arising between these by means of a shift stopping member so as to limit the transmission torque. CONSTITUTION:When an inner rotor is rotated in predetermined one direction with the driving side of a power transmission system coupled with the inner rotor 1 and load side coupled with a power transmission rotor 14, the inclined middle rotor 3 rotates on its own axis and revolves round the inner rotor, being guided while keeping the line contact with the inner rotor. For this reason, the outer rotor 2 making line contact with middle rotor advances in the direction of narrowing the interval between the tracks in the axial direction, being guided by the middle rotor, and at the same time it gives generation of an angle of torsion relatively between itself and the inner rotor, and the middle rotor is locked by the wedge action inside the track 9, and the torque corresponding to the quantity of advance or the angle of torsion is transmitted from the inner rotor to the load side through the outer rotor and a power transmitting rotor. |
