PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection in an injection port by a sealing part and to obtain the liquid crystal display device of a high display grade by providing the liquid crystal injection port on the side of the signal input terminal part of a transparent substrate which is not formed with color filter layers. CONSTITUTION:The color filters 7 of three colors; red, blue and green are formed on the one transparent substrate 2 and a protective film 8, a transparent common electrode 4 and an oriented film 6 are formed thereon. Transparent segment electrodes 3 and an oriented film 5 are provided in correspondence to the color filters 7 on another transparent substrate 1. The sealing part 11 is formed by using a thermosetting type epoxy resin on this transparent substrate 1 and the liquid crystal injection port 12 is formed on the terminal part 13 side by screen printing. A liquid crystal 9 is sealed to the liquid crystal device formed by adhering the substrates 1 and 2 via a gap agent 10. The floating and peeling of the transparent electrodes by the sealing agent in the injection port at the time of scribing are then prevented and the disconnection is prevented. |
