<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the necessary number of switches and achieve a lower cost by connecting a plurality of switching elements in parallel. CONSTITUTION:For example, in case of distributing current to linear motor car coils 31, 32... in a single current feeding system, switches 2a, 2a1... are installed on the coils for each of two sections. The switches 2a... are gas- insulated, each having two switching elements 6, 6 in an enclosed tank 7, connected to a cable terminator via an input-side bushing 8 and connected to two coils 31, 32 via an output-side bushing 9. There are a plurality of switching elements per phase which are arranged in an enclosed container, and the used phase is a single phase or multiple phases. In this way, the necessary number of switches suffice with only half the number of coils to be connected.</p> |
