PURPOSE:To attenuate wave energy at the time of high tide by providing a footpath deck plate in the central part of a reinforced plastic pipe and also providing a unit panel at the bottom part thereof and fitting the upper part of the fluid damper chamber of the bottom part with a draft control water storage chamber and a breakwater space. CONSTITUTION:Several FRP (reinforced plastic) pipes 1', 1''... are arranged in two rows in the longitudinal direction of a panel and a footpath deck plate 2 is connected to the central parts of the pipes by connection rings 4', 4''... and a bottom plate 3 is connected to the bottom parts of the pipes by connection rings to form a unit panel. Next, the bottom parts of several FRP pipes 1', 1''... of the unit panel are set to fluid damper chambers 6', 6''... and water is allowed to flow out of the damper chambers from the water holes 5', 5''... thereof at the time of the shaking of a bridge to control the shaking of the bridge to the min. Draft control water storage chambers 7', 7''... controlling draft depth H are arranged on the upper parts of the chambers 6', 6''... to con trol the vertical position of the center of gravity of the whole of the floating bridge. By this method, safety can be secured. |
