DESTATICIZING DEVICE FOR IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reduce a space for setting equipments around a photosensitive body and to miniaturize a device by taking a cleaning blade as a light guide and using it also for a destaticizing optical path. CONSTITUTION:By uniformly irradiating the photosensitive drum 4 with destaticizing light from an eraser 63 in a state where the cleaning blade 7 is taken as the light guide, the photosensitive body 4 is destaticized. With such constitution that the cleaning blade is used also for the destaticizing optical path, the space for setting the equipments around the photosensitive body is reduced and the device is miniaturized.
