<p>PURPOSE:To make a searching action quick by setting the display mode of a display means to a searching function or the other functions with the aid of a set means and enabling the operation of the searching function or the other functions with the aid of the operation of an action switch. CONSTITUTION:In the case that a target position is displayed on the display means 4 when the action switch 1 is operated, the searching function 5 acts. Besides, the other functions 6, for example, the program searching function acts in the case that a present position is displayed on the means 4. Then, when the means 4 is controlled by a control means 3 and the target position is set by the set means 2, the target position is displayed on the means 4. Therefore, when the action switch 1 is operated after the target position is set by the means 2, the searching function 5 can be made to act. Thus, the searching action is easily and quickly executed and the operability of a magnetic recording/reproducing device is improved.</p> |
