<p>PURPOSE:To enable even an unskilled operator to accurately detect a detection target by detecting the peak value of a reflected signal which is larger than a predetermined specific value. CONSTITUTION:The antenna part 20 of the small-sized radar consists of the antenna 1 consisting of a transmitting antenna 11a and a receiving antenna 11b, a trigger circuit 2, a pulser 3, a sampler 4, a signal processing circuit 5, a travel sensor 12, and a position measuring instrument 13. A control display device 21 has a computer 7 connected to the circuit 5 by a cable 6. Then the computer 7 detects the peak value of the reflected signal which is larger than the predetermined specific value as to the reflected signal received by the antenna 11b and time components from the transmission time to the moment of the detection are extracted and displayed on a CRT display device 9a. Consequently, only the intense reflected signal by the detection target which is an underground buried body is extracted and its burying depth is accurately displayed.</p> |
