PURPOSE:To prevent aging of solution of starch paste useful especially for coating, size press, addition to inner face, etc., by using dextran as an agent of preventing aging of solution of starch paste. CONSTITUTION:(A) A starch such as maize starch, tapioca starch, potato starch, wheat starch or modified starch by oxidation, esterification, making starch cationic, etc., is blended with (B) preferably 0.1-2.0 calculated as solid content of dextran. The prepared solution of starch has excellently improving effects on glossiness and surface strength. |
