<p>PURPOSE:To prevent an increase in the film thickness of electrode edge parts by connecting an inductor to electrodes and executing electrodeposition in an electrodeposition soln. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 11 is immersed into the electrodeposition soln. prepd. by dispersing a electrodepositable polyester/melamine and red pigment into water. The inductor 14 consisting of a coil is then connected in series to the DC electrode 15 and the electrode 12. A voltage is impressed between these electrodes and a counter electrode 16 to execute the electrodeposition and to deposit a colored layer 17 on the electrodes. A counter electromotive voltage is generated with an abrupt increase in the current by utilizing the inductor 14 in such a manner to suppress the flowing current, by which the increase in the film thickness of the electrode edge parts is confined within a desired value.</p> |
