<p>PURPOSE:To control the flatness of material to be rolled with high accuracy and in a stable state by taking in the detected value of the tension distribution of material to be rolled that is equivalent to the rotation angle of the roll of sheet shape gage and determining the mean value of the detected value for every rotation of the roll of sheet shape gage. CONSTITUTION:Sampling signal is generated whenever the roll of sheet shape gage is revoled at a prescribed angle with a sampling timing generating means 12. Whenever the sampling signal is generated with the sampling timing generating means in a processing means 10, the detected value of the tension distribution of material to be rolled that is equivalent to the detected rotation angle of the roll of sheet shape gage is taken in from a sheet shape gage and the mean value is determined whenever the roll of sheet shape gage is revolved at one rotation and is given to the flatness control system 13 of material to be rolled. In this way, the influence due to mechanical vibration that is contained in the detected value that is detected with the sheet shape gage can be eliminated.</p> |
