The training equipment promotes coordination between hand and foot movement. The feet of the skier are supported on horizontal rolling or gliding footplates (9) while the hands are supported by horizontal rolling or gliding handgrips (7). Motion of footplates and handgrips is limited to approx. 1.5 times the step length of the average skier. The equipment includes a rectangular, tubular frame (1) with a step on platform (2). On vertical supports (3,4) fit handrails (5) and guides (6) for handgrips (7). The foot plates roll over rails (10,12) and are restricted by platform (2) and buffer beam (12). The foot plates (9) have rollers (14) supported on ball bearings in frame (15). Footplates (9) and handgrips (7) have plastics slide elements.
