<p>PURPOSE:To decrease the peripheral hardware and at the same time to improve the system reliability by securing the connection among plural integrated circuits and providing a nonvolatile storage element to store the identification No of each integrated circuit. CONSTITUTION:In an information processor containing plural devices connected to each other, a nonvolatile storage element like an EEPROM, etc., is provided to store the identification signal which identifies each device. That is, a comparator 5 compares the No data (b) received from a device No input terminal 3 with the output signal (a) of a device No register 1 when a device whose No is already set is set in a normal working state. The result of the comparison is sent to an internal processing part via a result output line 6. Thus the device itself can select its desired action based on the result of comparison. As a result, that packing efficiency is improved to a printed circuit board together with decrease of the number of parts. Then the overall reliability is improved for an integrated circuit device.</p> |
