PURPOSE:To locate a sound image to an optimum position automatically by detecting a listening point of a listener based on an output from a seat position detection means of a power seat and applying arithmetic processing to an acoustic signal so that the sound image is located to the listening point. CONSTITUTION:A control section 15 outputs seat position detection information to a control section 7 from a storage area storing a current seat position and attitude. The control section 7 based on the received seat position detection information calculates a listening point of a listener and sets an arithmetic constant and an arithmetic coefficient in a digital signal processor 1 so that the sound image is located to the listening point. Thus, an acoustic reproducing device 2 detects the position of a seat 13 and the attitude from a control section 15 of a power seat, varies the arithmetic constant and coefficient in the processor 1 in response to the result of detection and locates the sound image automatically to the listening point of the listener. Thus, it is not required for the listener to make complicated operation to adjust the location of the sound image and the operability and the function performance are improved. |
